We have a confidential Helpline which is available at any time and staffed by volunteers. All of our volunteers are trained in listening skills and some have personal experience of eating disorders.
Callers can feel safe and may talk freely. You can expect to be listened to and not judged. You can take your time to offload, to talk through your concerns, to feel heard, to get help with clarifying your options, to get support in the moment.
If there is no one available to speak to you when you phone, someone will try and call you back when a volunteer becomes available, unless you leave a message asking us not to contact you.
Support by email
If you are not comfortable talking to someone just yet, we also offer a help and support service via email: support@eatingdisorderssupport.co.uk
